Located in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, the Whitmore Collection sits on the site of the UK’s first electroplating factory, a legacy reflected in its design. Commissioned by Legal & General, the development blends three new apartment buildings with two listed structures, celebrating the area’s industrial heritage.

Kibre was responsible for all interior design, FF&E, procurement, and installation across apartments and amenity spaces, including show flat styling. At its centre sits a three-storey Clubhouse and a restored warehouse, now home to four characterful apartments. Historic details were thoughtfully reimagined, beams became furniture, a salvaged safe door turned coffee table, and heritage finds were repurposed as lighting and objets d’art. Creating a tactile, timeless environment rooted in the site’s rich story.
