Natural Design, Global Stage: KIBRE Meets Ethnicraft at Tomorrowland

Last week, our Managing Director, Robin Hutton, had the pleasure of visiting the Ethnicraft team in Belgium.

Beginning at their beautiful showroom, moving behind the scenes at their warehouse, and culminating at the Tomorrowland festival to see their latest collaboration, MORPHO, in action.

From the moment he arrived, the Ethnicraft team made him feel completely at home. Warm, welcoming, and deeply passionate about their craft, they walked Robin through their design process, from sustainably sourced materials to timeless craftsmanship. The warehouse tour offered a compelling behind the scenes look at how each piece is brought to life with care and intention.

Inspired by the organic beauty of the natural world, the MORPHO collection was installed across the Tomorrowland festival, its sculptural forms evoking natural elements like dragonfly wings and root systems. Set against a backdrop of music, movement, and light, the collection took on a new energy. It’s one thing to see furniture in a showroom; it’s another to watch people interact with it, live among it, and respond to its presence.

For us at KIBRE, the experience struck a powerful chord. MORPHO reflects the same values we bring to our Build to Rent and private residential projects, thoughtful design with soul. The emphasis on natural materials, sustainability, and design that elevates everyday spaces speaks directly to our own ethos.

A big thank you to the team at Ethnicraft for the inspiration (and the warm hospitality). This was more than a tour, it was a timely reminder of why we do what we do.
